About Submarine
Drebble built the first navigable submarine for King James I. It was powered by oars and could stay submerged for 3 hours. Turtle, a one-man submarine, attacked a British ship in 1776 but failed. The Hunley was the first to sink a ship, in 1864, then itself sank.
